What You'll Do

o Lead a team of developers to effectively Design, develop and deliver production quality applications that are highly scalable, supportable and maintainable.
o Partner with internal and external teams, understand business and technical requirements, document technical specifications for the development team.
o Be responsible for architecture, design, code quality, and deployments.
o Document technical solutions and articulate these solutions to architecture group and leadership audience.
o Participate in design and code reviews and mentor junior developers
o Evaluate newer tech stack’s, third party libraries, tools by writing proof of concepts, benchmarking and making recommendations
o Troubleshoot and resolve complex system level stability or scalability issues.

Who You Are
A qualified candidate will possess:

o Bachelor's degree (or above) in engineering/computer science with an overall work experience of 13+ years.
o Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.
o Hands-on, in depth knowledge in Java / Golang.
o Experience in micro-services architecture, AWS Cloud and Services.
o Hands on experience and sound knowledge in technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, NoSQL (MongoDB), RabbitMQ, Kafka.
o A strong passion for data driven decision making in everything you do!
o Your communication and presentation skills are exemplary, working in a highly collaborative and multi-functional teams.
o Ability to work independently, research current and emerging technologies, propose changes as needed to cater to changing business / technical conditions.
o Ability to effectively lead teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence.
o Significant Exposure to defining Non-Functional Requirements.
o Excellent debugging skills, ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system level stability or scalability issues.
o Customer empathy, with the critical thinking needed to ask the challenging questions.
o Good knowledge of technology and product trends, Open Source frameworks.
o Ability to work in fast paced environment with good teamwork capabilities.
o Strong desire to build and sense of ownership.
